About the Role
You will take a strong thesis and turn it into a scaled, defensible business. You'll define which clinical specialty, KIS vendor, and hospital segment to attack first, and decide whether your first version focuses purely on coding or also includes insurer challenge defence. You'll architect an LLM and rules engine that reasons from official German coding guidelines, handling ICD-10-GM and OPS codes while producing audit-defensible output with evidence chains. You'll ship a computer-use agent that navigates hospital information systems like a human coder, proving its accuracy against the human baseline. You'll run a retrospective analysis with a reference hospital to quantify revenue left on the table and convert that into a live pilot. You'll build for regulatory certifications and compliance from day one, and once coding earns trust, you'll extend the same infrastructure to billing, admissions, and clinical documentation improvement, compounding your product's value with every new agent.
Requirements
- Experienced founder or builder capable of operating from zero to one in enterprise health-tech or AI infrastructure
- Unique market insight or a top 1% advantage in clinical coding, hospital revenue cycle, health-tech AI, or German healthcare IT
- Strong technical instincts to reason about LLM architectures, computer-use agents, clinical NLP, and hospital system integration
- Proven ability to sell into conservative, risk-averse hospital buyers and navigate German healthcare procurement
- Deep understanding of the German healthcare market
- Fluency in German to navigate the G-DRG system, DKR guidelines, and MD audit processes
Responsibilities
- Define which clinical specialty, KIS vendor, and hospital segment to target first
- Decide whether v1 focuses on coding alone or includes insurer challenge defence
- Architect an LLM and rules engine that reasons from DKR guidelines
- Handle ICD-10-GM and OPS codes and produce audit-defensible output with evidence chains
- Deploy a computer-use agent that navigates a hospital KIS like a human coder
- Prove accuracy against the human coding baseline
- Run a retrospective analysis on historical cases to quantify revenue left on the table
- Convert retrospective analysis into a live pilot with a reference hospital
- Build for BSI C5 Type 2 certification, GDPR compliance, and EU AI Act readiness
- Extend the product to billing, admissions, and clinical documentation improvement agents
