About the Role

You will own customer outcomes for AI systems from integration through production readiness and ongoing operations. You will work directly with customer engineering and operations teams, develop production code, validate deployments, automate procedures, debug inference-stack issues, and resolve technical problems across hardware and software.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in applied engineering, machine learning engineering, MLOps, platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, or site reliability engineering
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Experience turning ambiguous requirements into production-ready implementations, acceptance criteria, validation plans, and operating procedures
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Linux systems administration at multi-node, HPC, or AI-cluster scale
  • Experience with Helm-based deployments, observability, infrastructure automation, CI/CD, release engineering, and LLM inference frameworks
  • Native or business-level Japanese and business-level English
  • Eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled technology

  • Integrate, deploy, validate, automate, debug, and operate AI systems
  • Develop production code and establish reliable operating procedures
  • Drive customer systems through resolution until they work as intended
  • Communicate technical trade-offs with customer leadership and core engineering teams
