About the Role
You will deploy Hivemind products at customer sites, configure and validate releases, train operators, troubleshoot field issues, and capture diagnostic evidence. You will improve runbooks and support workflows, coordinate issue resolution, validate corrective actions, and provide sustained on-site technical support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, robotics, aerospace, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of relevant hands-on technical field experience
- Technical background in software engineering, systems integration, or autonomy-adjacent systems
- Proficiency in C++
- Working proficiency with Python, Bash, or similar scripting
- Troubleshooting skills across Linux or embedded systems, networking, configuration management, logs, telemetry, release packages, sensors, and operator workflows
- Customer-facing communication, training, and escalation skills
- Ability to write deployment records, troubleshooting guides, evidence packages, and support updates
- Ability to travel at least 50%, including domestic and international multi-week deployments
- Ability to comply with export-control, security, safety, sensitive-data, customer-site, and mission requirements
Responsibilities
- Deploy globally with customers to install, configure, validate, train, troubleshoot, and sustain Hivemind products
- Become an expert user of Hivemind software, autonomy modules, deployment tooling, and diagnostics
- Execute and improve deployment runbooks
- Provide technical support to operators, maintainers, partners, and field teams
- Capture field evidence for issue triage
- Drive support issues through intake, assessment, resolution, customer updates, and closure
- Convert recurring issues into support tickets, knowledge-base content, runbooks, and product feedback
- Coordinate issue routing with engineering, product, program, licensing, safety, legal, commercial, and support teams
- Support root-cause investigations and corrective-action validation
- Perform Field Service Representative-style on-site support when required
