About the Role
You will lead fleet servicing and maintenance technicians, optimise servicing schedules and vehicle uptime, manage maintenance costs, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, coordinate upgrades, analyse maintenance data, and improve workshop processes. You will collaborate with engineering leads and geographical leadership to align servicing with operational needs.
Requirements
- Extensive service-manager experience in dealership, fleet-management, or automotive-servicing environments
- Team leadership and coaching capability
- Scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimisation skills
- Knowledge of health, safety, risk management, and compliance in fleet servicing
- Communication and stakeholder-engagement skills
- Maintenance KPI tracking and fleet performance analysis
- Process-development and continuous-improvement experience
- Availability to work Monday to Friday on-site in Tokyo and Yokohama
- Pass training, pre-employment checks, health checks, and ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Responsibilities
- Optimise servicing and inspection schedules to maximise vehicle uptime
- Manage maintenance costs and implement cost-saving initiatives
- Ensure servicing operations comply with safety regulations and internal policies
- Oversee mechanical and servicing-related fleet upgrades
- Lead and develop servicing and maintenance technicians
- Analyse maintenance data and report on fleet performance
- Improve servicing workflows and implement best practices
