About the Role
You will support compensation accounting activities, ensure expenses are recorded in accordance with GAAP, prepare balance-sheet reconciliations, and present monthly P&L and balance-sheet commentary. You will work with payroll, HR, finance, tax, auditors, and system-implementation projects.
Requirements
- CA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification
- At least 5 years of accounting-related experience
- Experience in financial services or a large listed company is preferred
- Excel and data-manipulation skills
- Experience working with external auditors
- Task management and organizational skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Record compensation expenses in accordance with GAAP
- Prepare and certify balance-sheet reconciliations
- Present monthly P&L and balance-sheet movement commentary
- Liaise with payroll, HR, finance, tax, and auditors
- Support payroll-system and Oracle general-ledger implementation projects
- Complete assigned monthly tasks and ad hoc duties
