About the Role

You will operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair robotic welding systems and automation equipment. You will inspect welded assemblies, manage inventory, perform preventive maintenance, analyze data, integrate welding cells into manufacturing processes, support customers, and work with engineering to resolve issues.

Requirements

• Technical training, trade school certification, Associate degree in Engineering Technology, or equivalent industry experience
• Experience designing, assembling, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems
• Familiarity with fabrication or machine shop processes
• Comfort learning and using programming languages
• Experience handling small and fragile components
• English fluency

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain multi-robotic welding systems
• Load, monitor, and inspect welded assemblies using robotic vision systems and sensors
• Manage parts and completed-assembly inventory
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs
• Record and analyze data for issue resolution
• Monitor cell performance and part fit-up
• Operate specialized manufacturing machines
• Integrate autonomous welding cells into customer manufacturing processes
• Service pneumatic systems, welding equipment, robotics, and electrical automation devices
• Operate Forge cells through command prompts and code changes
• Interface with customers to optimize equipment efficiency
• Collaborate with engineering to troubleshoot issues
• Inspect, clean, and replace electrical and mechanical components
• Travel to customer sites
