About the Role
The Product Feature Owner will take end-to-end responsibility for ADAS features such as traffic alerts, blind-spot monitoring, high-beam assist, and perception for HMI. The role works closely with OEMs, product teams, and engineering teams to define scope, set performance targets, ensure compliance, manage risks, and deliver features to specification.
Requirements
- Expertise specifying and facilitating ADAS feature delivery from concept to production.
- Experience with automotive processes including requirements management, V-model, ASPICE, quality, and validation.
- Strong customer advocacy, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-alignment skills.
- Technical understanding of ADAS features and a hands-on approach to testing, evaluation, and validation.
- Experience shipping complete ADAS features into large-scale production automotive programs is desirable.
- Knowledge of automotive quality and safety standards including ASPICE, SOTIF, functional safety, GSR-II, and DCAS is desirable.
- Experience with machine learning, LLMs, and recent generative AI methods and architectures is desirable.
- Ability to bridge technical and business perspectives and develop innovative ADAS features.
Responsibilities
- Own specific ADAS features through their lifecycle from concept to production, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with specifications.
- Collaborate with feature group owners and engineering teams on feature specifications, testing, evaluation, and validation.
- Represent OEM customer needs internally and harmonize requirements across customers to support reusable and scalable solutions.
- Coordinate communication between OEMs, product teams, and engineering teams while participating in agile processes and rituals.
- Identify risks, maintain the strategic feature roadmap, and align feature development with customer expectations and Wayve’s autonomy strategy.
