About the Role
You will design and deliver interactive digital tools, guidance products, and frameworks supporting AI deployment. You will manage the product roadmap, work directly with organisations on operational AI use cases, provide deployment and governance guidance, line-manage the Impact & Data Manager, and support workshops and stakeholder engagement.
Requirements
- PhD or equivalent industry experience in data science, software engineering, AI/ML systems, or a related field
- Experience designing, prototyping, and shipping digital tools, frameworks, or guidance products for AI deployment or data science practice
- Experience supporting organisations deploying AI or ML systems in operational settings
- Working knowledge of AI assurance and governance frameworks, including ISO/IEC 42001, ISO/IEC 23894, NIST AI RMF, and/or UK GDPR / DPA 2018
- Line-management or mentoring experience
- Ability to manage a product development workstream
Responsibilities
- Develop interactive digital tools and structured guidance products for AI deployment
- Own the product development roadmap
- Design accessible, documented products for broad practitioner adoption
- Work with organisations to scope, develop, and harden AI deployment use cases
- Provide guidance on site readiness, governance, workflows, change management, and staff capability requirements
- Advise on AI safety, ethics, and assurance frameworks
- Line-manage the Impact & Data Manager
- Support public dissemination activities, including workshops
- Engage with sector bodies, regulators, and Innovate UK partners
