About the Role
You will own end-to-end delivery of the Execution Sandbox Service and lead the engineers building it. You will launch a production-scale provisioning layer, unify CPU and GPU management paths, align partner organizations, set API contracts, and maintain operational rigor.
Requirements
- 5+ years managing engineers building and operating distributed systems in production
- Computer Science degree or equivalent practical experience
- Technical fluency in infrastructure systems and architecture review
- Experience with control-plane or orchestration services
- Experience with multi-cloud or multi-region deployments across AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Commitment to observability, SLOs, pre-mortems, and on-call culture
- Experience building and scaling engineering teams
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of the Execution Sandbox Service
- Build the service vision and scale the engineering organization
- Launch a production-grade reliable service
- Architect and launch a provisioning layer for non-Spark compute workloads
- Unify CPU and GPU cluster management paths
- Drive alignment on API contracts and shared milestones across partner organizations
- Partner with Product Management on future offerings
- Hire additional engineers
