About the Role
You will design and build the Marketplace platform architecture from scratch. You will develop backend services, APIs, and distributed systems for OS and container-image artifacts. You will define technical specifications and roadmaps, ensure quality through testing and documentation, and recruit, mentor, and lead the engineering team.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Go
- Experience with Python
- Experience in SQL and database management
- Expertise in Linux system administration and internals
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience building APIs and distributed architectures
- Understanding of microservices and scalability
- Proficiency with Git and CI/CD workflows
- Experience managing OS images and containers
- Leadership and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design and develop the Marketplace platform architecture
- Implement backend services using Go and SQL
- Create and manage the lifecycle of OS and container images
- Develop and maintain Marketplace APIs
- Architect scalable distributed microservices
- Collaborate with Core Engineering and Product teams
- Define technical specifications and product roadmaps
- Ensure code quality through testing and documentation
- Recruit, mentor, and lead Marketplace engineers
- Balance hands-on development with engineering management
