About the Role
You will own the network platform architecture, roadmap, and operation. You will build service orchestration and self-service connectivity capabilities, develop APIs and integrations, lead production software practices, and provide technical leadership for network automation and platform engineering.
Requirements
- 7+ years of platform engineering or network automation experience
- At least 2 years in a senior or lead role
- Experience designing, building, and operating production software platforms
- Software engineering skills using Python and Go
- Experience with RESTful APIs, OpenAPI, gRPC, or similar interfaces
- Knowledge of Git, code review, automated testing, CI/CD, and release management
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, microservices, and cloud-native development
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Python, Jinja2, and Nornir
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code and Network as Code
- Knowledge of NETCONF, RESTCONF, YANG, OpenConfig, gNMI, or streaming telemetry
- Experience with API integrations, authentication, authorization, and API lifecycle management
- Understanding of service modelling, workflow orchestration, inventory management, and source-of-truth architectures
Responsibilities
- Own the Network Platform architecture, roadmap, and operation
- Define strategy for service orchestration, network automation, APIs, and partner integrations
- Design and build end-to-end network service orchestration
- Develop automation workflows that reduce onboarding time and manual configuration
- Own self-service connectivity capabilities
- Design, develop, and govern APIs
- Build integrations for third-party service provisioning and lifecycle management
- Lead production software development and platform operations
- Establish standards for code, testing, release management, documentation, and operational support
- Mentor engineers working on network automation and APIs
