About the Role
You will lead a product engineering team through architecture, execution, quality, and launches for customer-facing features. You will plan roadmaps, develop engineers, improve testing and observability, establish delivery practices, coordinate cross-functional dependencies, and use customer feedback and metrics to prioritize work.
Requirements
- 2+ years managing software engineers
- 6+ years as a software engineer shipping products used by millions of users
- Experience with Linux systems internals or cloud systems engineering
- Experience building cloud platforms
- Experience with Go, Python, or TypeScript
- Understanding of microservices, APIs, eventing, data stores, and service communication
- Experience using delivery and product metrics
- Experience leading distributed teams
- Successful completion of a background check
Responsibilities
- Lead engineers delivering customer-facing product functionality
- Translate product strategy into technical plans, milestones, and success metrics
- Drive scalable architecture for product services and workflows
- Hire, mentor, and develop engineers
- Improve automated testing, release safety, observability, and on-call health
- Coordinate with Product, Program Management, Support, GTM, and Infrastructure
- Establish delivery systems, retrospectives, and design reviews
- Use customer feedback, analytics, and support signals to prioritize work
