About the Role
You will lead software developers delivering international product launches. You will define technical direction, guide architecture and execution, and ensure services are secure, reliable, and performant. You will hire, mentor, and evaluate engineers while coordinating with product, design, compliance, and engineering leaders to deliver initiatives on schedule.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- At least 2 years of engineering team management experience
- Experience shipping complex products with product, design, and engineering partners
- Experience designing and operating reliable, scalable, high-performance distributed systems
- Experience delivering complex technical projects from planning through deployment
- Ability to communicate technical decisions and trade-offs to technical and business partners
- Experience coaching, mentoring, and providing feedback
Responsibilities
- Lead and support software developers through clear goals, feedback, and growth plans
- Define technical direction and prioritize work with product managers and partner teams
- Ensure backend services and localized products deliver high availability, performance, and security
- Manage hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations for engineers
- Coordinate with product, design, and engineering leaders to deliver critical initiatives on schedule
