About the Role
You will lead engineers building scalable production services, detection pipelines, and mitigation mechanisms for frontier model misuse. You will set technical strategy, partner with Research and Product, strengthen reliability and operational practices, and grow the engineering team.
Requirements
- Experience building systems in adversarial, fast-evolving environments
- Experience adjacent to security, abuse prevention, fraud, integrity, platform defense, identity, malware, spam, or adversarial environments
- Significant experience leading engineering teams and delivering production systems end to end
- Technical judgment in system design, distributed systems, data pipelines, observability, and operational reliability
- Ability to partner with Research, Product, and Security
- Familiarity with model extraction, distillation, adversarial evaluation, or scalable detection and mitigation approaches
Responsibilities
- Lead engineers building detection and mitigation systems for frontier model misuse
- Set the technical roadmap and execution strategy
- Build scalable production services, pipelines, tooling, instrumentation, and automation
- Partner with Research and Product to deploy tests, signals, and mitigations
- Drive architecture, reliability, monitoring, performance, and operational excellence
- Hire and grow engineers across backend, data systems, and applied ML
- Anticipate risks as agentic workflows scale
