About the Role
You will lead the Customer Interfaces engineering team, own its architectural strategy, develop dynamic and agentic interfaces, guide Java backend orchestration, align product roadmaps, strengthen operational practices, and provide architectural guidance and code reviews.
Requirements
- 5+ years of engineering management or team leadership experience
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience as a Senior or Lead Full-Stack or Backend Engineer
- Technical depth in Java backend services
- Proficiency in modern frontend JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks
- Strong full-stack architecture background
- Familiarity with production-grade LLM workflows
- Familiarity with policy layers and streaming latency optimization
- Knowledge of zero-trust security boundaries
- Experience translating product goals into technical solutions
Responsibilities
- Lead hiring, onboarding, and development of the San Francisco engineering team
- Own the architectural strategy for Customer Interfaces
- Translate system designs into engineering output
- Guide development of dynamic and agentic UI components
- Guide Java services development
- Partner with Product Managers and stakeholders on the roadmap
- Balance feature delivery with technical debt, performance, and stability
- Drive incident response and post-mortem root-cause analysis
- Provide architectural guidance and conduct code reviews
- Align teams across global hubs
