About the Role
You will lead engineers building connectivity infrastructure for tool use, including an MCP proxy, OAuth, and token management. You will set direction with cross-site partners, develop your reports, drive cross-team delivery, and establish operational practices for reliable production infrastructure.
Requirements
- Experience managing software engineering teams, including hiring, coaching, and performance management
- Technical background in backend or platform engineering
- Experience operating production distributed systems
- Knowledge of reliability, observability, and incident response at scale
- Ability to build consensus across teams and time zones
Responsibilities
- Lead engineers building connectivity infrastructure, including the MCP proxy, OAuth, and token management
- Hire, coach, and develop technical talent
- Define the roadmap with engineering, product, security, and platform partners
- Drive cross-team delivery across product surfaces
- Establish engineering best practices, on-call processes, incident response, and postmortems
- Contribute to engineering-wide management initiatives
