About the Role
You will lead, coach, and develop software engineers building alternative payment method capabilities for APAC. You will set technical direction, make architecture decisions, and build scalable, reliable payment integrations. You will partner with product and engineering stakeholders, handle complex technical escalations, and improve testing, observability, operational excellence, and developer productivity.
Requirements
- Experience leading and developing software engineering teams
- Software engineering experience building large-scale distributed systems
- Java or similar backend technology experience
- Technical mentorship, feedback, and career development experience
- Experience leading technical discussions and architectural decisions
- Experience working with Product Managers and cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience with payment systems or alternative payment method integrations
- Knowledge of transaction flows, payment status handling, error management, and reconciliation
