Lead Adyen's Developer Experience domain by improving APIs, SDKs, documentation, integrations, developer tools, and engineering standards while representing the developer community through thought leadership.
Requirements
- 7+ years of technical experience.
- Significant hands-on software engineering experience.
- 3+ years managing managers.
- Experience leading organizations of 40+ engineers.
- Experience with developer-facing products, APIs, or integrations.
- Experience with thought leadership, conference speaking, technical writing, and developer community engagement.
- Strong mentorship, team-building, and customer-centric leadership skills.
- Work authorization in the United States without new visa sponsorship; visa transfers may be supported, but H-1B CAP sponsorship is unavailable.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the Developer Experience vision.
- Maintain quality, scalability, performance, consistency, and simplicity across integration products.
- Improve the usability, reliability, and efficiency of integrations, APIs, and tools.
- Lead and grow a diverse multidisciplinary engineering organization.
- Drive common principles and taxonomy for integration processes and API consistency.
- Deliver developer tools, SDKs, documentation, and developer relations initiatives.
- Represent the developer community through conferences, articles, and thought leadership.
