About the Role
You will own day-to-day operations, reliability, maintenance, and optimization for the Megapack energy storage fleet. You will monitor performance, coordinate Tesla service and maintenance work, oversee inspections and repairs, maintain operational records, support commissioning, and provide on-call support for urgent issues.
Requirements
- Experience coordinating with OEM field service teams and managing vendor relationships
- Experience with maintenance planning, asset management, and regulatory compliance for high-voltage energy infrastructure
- Organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work onsite in an industrial or data center environment
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts
- Ability to lift 25 or more pounds and work at heights
- Ability to pass pre-employment and annual background checks
Responsibilities
- Monitor Megapack fleet health and performance in real time
- Create and manage Tesla service tickets for technical issues
- Coordinate onsite work with Tesla Field Service technicians
- Escalate critical issues and drive resolution to minimize downtime
- Optimize Megapack operations for power and AI infrastructure demands
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance for Megapack transformers
- Lead the design and placement of operations and maintenance infrastructure
- Schedule and oversee Tesla preventive maintenance, firmware updates, and repairs
- Perform site inspections, quality assurance checks, and post-maintenance validation
- Analyze performance data for trends, degradation, and optimization opportunities
- Maintain maintenance, service, downtime, spare-parts, and performance records
- Support commissioning and integration of new Megapack deployments
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, manufacturer guidelines, and regulations
- Participate in root-cause analysis and continuous improvement
- Provide on-call support for urgent operational and maintenance issues
