About the Role
You will review source-of-funds and source-of-wealth information, monitor customer transactions, identify account red flags, and request supporting documentation. You will assess PEP, RCA, and SIP screening matches while balancing regulatory obligations with customer experience.
Requirements
- University degree in Economics, Finance, or Law
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Interest in AML regulation, including AML Directives, FM-GwG, and ESAs AML/CFT Guidelines
- Understanding of financial crime patterns and the AML/CFT landscape
- Interest in the cryptocurrency industry
Responsibilities
- Review Source of Funds and Source of Wealth information for fiat transactions and low-risk customers
- Monitor customer financial activity and identify potential account red flags
- Analyze retail users’ financial data and explanations
- Request additional documentation from customers
- Conduct transaction-monitoring reviews and determine whether Proof of Funds or Proof of Wealth follow-up is required
- Assess potential PEP, RCA, and SIP screening matches
