About the Role
You will lead electronics development projects from concept through prototyping, validation, and production release. You will set technical direction and priorities, translate requirements into work packages, coordinate system integration, manage risks and timelines, maintain engineering practices, and report project status.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field
- At least 8 years of electronics-development experience
- At least 3 years of technical or team-leadership experience
- Leadership, planning, and organizational skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- English communication skills
- Experience providing technical guidance and reviewing designs
- Experience coordinating cross-functional engineering activities
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and requirements management
- Knowledge of analog and digital circuits, PCB development, power electronics, high-frequency design, and embedded systems
- Knowledge of hardware-project risk management
- Experience leading development from concept through production ramp-up
- Understanding of firmware-hardware interaction
- Experience in robotics or complex mechatronic systems
Responsibilities
- Provide technical direction, decisions, mentorship, and support
- Own electronics development projects from concept through prototyping, validation, and production release
- Define and manage development strategies, priorities, and milestones
- Translate system and business requirements into technical work packages and acceptance criteria
- Coordinate electronics, firmware, mechanics, and software integration
- Review technical design decisions for requirements, quality, and project constraints
- Monitor execution, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Maintain engineering processes, design reviews, and documentation standards
- Ensure documentation includes schematics, layout reviews, BOMs, test reports, and revision tracking
- Report technical and project status to stakeholders and management
