About the Role
You will lead and mentor electrical engineers, set priorities and technical standards, oversee electrical architecture and integration, review design and certification artifacts, resolve complex issues, and contribute directly to critical design work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering
- 8+ years of systems-level electrical design and integration experience in aviation or aerospace
- 2+ years of people management experience or demonstrated technical leadership
- Experience integrating and debugging COTS or MOTS modules, custom circuits, software, sensors, and human-machine interfaces
- Knowledge of Ethernet, ARINC 429, RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485
- Experience with wire harness design, connector sourcing, supplier relationships, scheduling, budgets, and resource allocation
- Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow electrical engineers
- Own technical planning, priorities, resource allocation, and schedules
- Establish engineering processes, design standards, and review practices
- Guide architecture decisions and integration of COTS and MOTS subsystems
- Review electrical drawings, test plans, reports, and certification documents
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and review engineers
- Resolve high-risk electrical design and integration issues
- Lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions
- Set the electrical technical roadmap
- Travel up to 25% to support integration activities
