About the Role
You will manage electrical engineers designing robotic actuator products and provide technical leadership for electrical system architecture. You will solve cross-disciplinary design problems, validate performance, introduce new technologies, coordinate manufacturing, troubleshoot failures, implement corrective actions, and mentor engineers through reviews and standards development.
Requirements
- Experience leading a team to deliver impact
- Experience leading architectural trade studies
- Experience with complex electromechanical products
- Experience with power electronics or motor drives
- Experience designing and validating high-speed communication interfaces
- Experience with HDI PCB routing, PCB fabrication, and PCB assembly
- Knowledge of EMC and EMI testing and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Linux, bootloaders, and peripheral drivers
- Systems engineering knowledge
- Expert proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout software
- Eligibility to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Manage electrical engineers designing and improving robotic actuator products
- Provide technical leadership for electrical system planning, architecture, and execution
- Collaborate across disciplines to understand failure modes and design validation tests
- Evaluate and introduce technologies that improve performance, reliability, and scalability
- Coordinate with manufacturing, suppliers, technicians, contract manufacturers, and logistics
- Troubleshoot issues and implement corrective and preventative solutions
- Mentor engineers through design reviews, analysis, simulation, standards, documentation, and architecture
