About the Role
You will own flight-critical V-BAT avionics designs and take hardware from concept through manufacturing deployment. You will lead circuit and subsystem design, PCB development, testing, validation, design reviews, technical mentorship, and cross-functional execution of project milestones.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of industry experience as an Electrical Engineer.
- Technical fundamentals.
- Experience with circuit design, schematic capture, component selection, circuit testing, and debugging.
- Hardware-development project improvement experience.
Responsibilities
- Own flight-critical avionics designs for V-BAT.
- Own circuit and subsystem design for V-BAT and support equipment.
- Lead design, verification, and manufacturing deployment.
- Provide mentorship and technical feedback.
- Harden designs for shock, vibration, high reliability, radiation, and high altitude.
- Own full-cycle hardware development from concept through testing and validation.
- Drive PCB layout and design with ECAD engineers.
- Design systems for safety, manufacturability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with mechanical, CAD, embedded, software, supply chain, test automation, production, and aircraft teams.
- Lead and contribute to cross-functional design reviews.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and technical milestones.
- Define technical product requirements and features.
