About the Role
You will own electrical subsystems from architecture through production. You will develop and validate analog, digital, power, sensing, control, and embedded-electronics designs, resolve system issues with cross-functional partners, and support manufacturing-scale product delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of professional electrical engineering experience
- Analog circuit design
- Digital circuit design
- Hardware design, review, debugging, and validation from schematic through PCB bring-up
- Knowledge of power systems, sensors, and embedded electronics
- Experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, and laboratory equipment
- EMI/ESD design knowledge
- Motor drive system, power electronics, or actuator control hardware experience
- Robotic actuators and electromechanical systems knowledge
- Motion control architecture knowledge
- Motor technology, encoder, and current sensing knowledge
- High-power or high-current electronics experience
- Manufacturing ramp and volume-production experience
- Safety-critical or fault-tolerant electronics knowledge
- Thermal design and fault management knowledge
- Mechanical CAD workflow knowledge
Responsibilities
- Design and release electrical subsystems that meet performance, reliability, safety, and manufacturing requirements
- Develop electrical architectures for power, sensing, control, and embedded electronics
- Deliver validated hardware from concept through schematic capture, PCB development, bring-up, and production support
- Improve reliability through EMI/ESD practices, validation testing, and root-cause analysis
- Partner with firmware, controls, manufacturing, and test teams to resolve system challenges
