About the Role
You will develop university partnerships and campus engagement strategies, recruit interns, co-ops, and early-career hires, and build structured internship programs. You will partner with hiring managers, technical leaders, and Marketing to strengthen talent pipelines, improve candidate experiences, and measure university investment outcomes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in university recruiting, early careers, university relations, or technical talent programs.
- Experience building or significantly scaling an early-careers or university recruiting program.
- Experience developing relationships with universities, faculty, research labs, career centers, and student organizations.
- Experience recruiting technical talent, ideally in robotics, AI/ML, software, hardware, or engineering.
- Program management skills from strategy through hands-on execution.
- Experience using recruiting data and market insights to guide investments.
- Stakeholder management skills and ability to partner with technical leaders.
- Ability to work in a high-growth environment with changing priorities.
- Willingness to travel to universities, conferences, and recruiting events as needed.
Responsibilities
- Develop a strategy for target universities and technical programs.
- Build long-term relationships with professors, research labs, faculty, career centers, and student organizations.
- Develop campus engagement strategies, including career fairs, technical talks, research partnerships, and student events.
- Identify opportunities for engineers and technical leaders to build relationships with students and faculty.
- Manage end-to-end recruiting for interns, co-ops, and early-career hires.
- Source and engage high-potential students.
- Build talent communities and pipelines ahead of hiring needs.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop evaluation processes for early-career talent.
- Build and manage a structured internship and co-op program.
- Define intern projects, mentorship, expectations, and success measures with managers.
- Create programming that exposes early talent to technology, leadership, and the business.
- Lead intern and co-op conversion strategies.
- Gather feedback from interns and managers to improve the program.
- Build presence in university, robotics, AI, and engineering communities.
- Develop employer-brand content and campaigns with Marketing and technical leaders.
- Measure the effectiveness of events, partnerships, sponsorships, and university investments.
