About the Role

This hands-on individual contributor role partners with managers and employees to build a culture of continuous development and high performance. The Director will develop Individual Development Plans, design manager and leadership programs, create learning pathways and digital resources, facilitate learning events, enable practical AI adoption, and measure learning effectiveness through capability improvement and business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in talent development, learning and development, leadership development, coaching, or organizational development
  • Experience building Individual Development Plans and coaching managers
  • Experience designing and facilitating manager and leadership development programs
  • Strong instructional design and curriculum development experience
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, coaching, consulting, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong business judgment and ability to influence without direct authority
  • Demonstrated project management and program execution skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel periodically to Alumni Ventures offices

Responsibilities

  • Partner with managers to build Individual Development Plans for employees
  • Coach managers on capability gaps, development priorities, and learning experiences
  • Support employees with development planning and remove barriers to performance
  • Create tools, templates, playbooks, workshops, videos, facilitator guides, and digital learning resources
  • Design and facilitate manager and leadership development programs
  • Develop learning pathways for investment and corporate professionals
  • Help employees integrate AI into daily workflows through practical use cases and prompting techniques
  • Evaluate emerging AI capabilities and translate them into business applications
  • Facilitate onboarding, leadership development, enterprise learning events, and team workshops
  • Measure learning effectiveness through capability improvement and business outcomes
