About the Role

You will act as the commercial leader for your assigned territory, driving end-to-end sales from strategy and lead generation through proposal capture and contract execution. You will manage pipeline and forecasting, coordinate with sales, legal, and delivery teams, engage strategic partners and lobbyists, and lead post-sale renewals and expansion.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in enterprise software solution sales within public sector or government environments
  • Experience acquiring multi-year, multi-million dollar contracts and driving customer expansion
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex multi-party dynamics in state and local procurement
  • Established network within the Public Safety community including end-users, decision-makers, and funding sources
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to present a clear vision of success and translate solution capabilities into business value and ROI
  • Skilled at diagnosing complex customer pain points and framing solution advantages
  • Proven ability to develop high-stakes briefing materials and sales collateral
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead the go-to-market lifecycle for Public Safety solutions within the assigned territory
  • Own sales forecasting, pipeline hygiene, and CRM management
  • Design and manage tailored capture and proposal programs
  • Drive pricing strategy, contract terms, and procurement platform utilization
  • Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Legal to protect company pricing and IP standards
  • Manage territory strategic partnerships and government relations firms including lobbyists
  • Partner with Client Delivery to lead post-sale renewals, expansions, and compliance
