About the Role

You will lead the strategy and execution of large-scale outside-plant and inside-plant network infrastructure. You will oversee fiber routes, data center connectivity, permitting, construction, vendor management, budgets, technical standards, safety, compliance, risks, and project turnover across Crusoe’s network builds in the United States.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience leading telecommunications infrastructure or OSP/ISP construction
  • Experience building fiber networks, conduit systems, and aerial or underground routes for data centers
  • Extensive experience with municipal, utility, and regional permitting agencies
  • Comprehensive understanding of OSP/ISP standards, fiber optic systems, and network architecture
  • Expertise with GIS, CAD, MS Project, or Primavera P6
  • Ability to manage large capital budgets and forecast expenditures
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute the OSP/ISP strategy
  • Direct projects from route design and permitting through construction and turnover
  • Select, negotiate with, and manage construction partners and ISPs
  • Partner with Network Engineering, GIS, and Data Center teams
  • Own construction budgets and monitor cost to completion
  • Direct installation of conduit, structured cabling, and fiber systems
  • Implement OSHA protocols and conduct site audits
  • Ensure compliance with construction codes
  • Mitigate construction risks and manage change orders
  • Deliver mission-critical network paths on schedule
