About the Role
You will build and maintain the integrated Primavera P6 schedule for a data center construction program spanning engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning. You will capture progress, analyze critical paths and slippage, model recovery scenarios, integrate contractor and vendor schedules, develop commissioning schedules, and produce schedule health reports.
Requirements
- 6+ years of planning or scheduling experience on large capital projects
- Data center, power, or heavy industrial experience preferred
- Expert-level Primavera P6 experience
- Experience with multi-thousand-activity programs, resource and cost loading, and baseline management
- Schedule quality and logic auditing experience
- Experience integrating and challenging contractor and vendor schedules
- Commissioning-phase scheduling experience preferred
- Strong analytical and narrative skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred
- Regular site presence during construction and commissioning peaks
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the integrated P6 schedule
- Span engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities
- Run progress cycles with field walk-downs and progress capture
- Update schedules and manage monthly re-baselining governance
- Analyze critical and near-critical paths, float erosion, and slippage drivers
- Model recovery scenarios and what-if options
- Integrate and interrogate contractor and vendor schedules
- Audit schedule logic and durations
- Test milestone credibility
- Manage delivery-date interfaces with logistics and expediting
- Build the Level 1-5 commissioning schedule
- Produce lookaheads, milestone trend charts, float consumption reports, and critical-path narratives
