About the Role
You will supervise onsite construction activities for direct hires and subcontractors, ensure mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems meet specifications and codes, inspect materials and equipment, develop execution plans and schedules, conduct quality inspections, coordinate testing and commissioning, and travel to multiple project sites as needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of field experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Understanding of industry codes and standards
- Experience overseeing large-scale base-building projects
- Experience managing contractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, schedules, budgets, and project details
- Proficiency with Procore, Primavera, or similar construction management software
Responsibilities
- Supervise onsite construction activities for direct hires and subcontractors
- Ensure MEP systems are installed on time, within budget, and in compliance with building codes
- Inspect materials, equipment, and construction or installation deliveries
- Develop execution plans, detailed schedules, and logistics
- Conduct quality control inspections
- Coordinate testing and commissioning efforts
- Travel to multiple project sites as needed
