About the Role
You lead the Client Engineering organisation and its Engineering Managers, owning the technical direction and standards for frontend applications. You improve architecture and monorepo workflows, guide technology and workforce decisions, establish observability and virtualisation systems, modernise release engineering, and explore AI solutions for client-side experiences.

- Experience improving engineering efficiency

Responsibilities
- Lead the Client Engineering organisation
- Lead Engineering Managers and partner with Staff Engineers
- Own frontend technical direction and standards
- Develop a pragmatic frontend strategy
- Identify and resolve large-scale monorepo workflow bottlenecks
- Evaluate the technology stack and workforce model
- Improve engineering leverage
- Establish product virtualisation and observability systems
- Deliver a modern Release Engineering model
- Implement an automation strategy for predictable deployments
- Explore AI and agentic solutions for frontend performance and member experiences
