About the Role

You will lead global government relations, public affairs, and policy strategy. You will shape regulatory pathways, develop policy positions, pursue public financing opportunities, engage policymakers and industry bodies, monitor political developments, advise leadership, and build the function as it grows.

Requirements

• 10+ years of government relations, government affairs, public affairs, or policy experience
• Knowledge of the United Kingdom political environment
• Understanding of the United States political environment and European Union institutions and policymaking
• Bachelor's degree in law, political science, economics, engineering, or a related field
• Experience in technology, telecommunications, satellites, media, AI, software, automotive, aerospace and space, or defence
• Policy-position and strategy development experience
• Research and drafting experience
• Willingness to travel regularly
• Right to work in the United Kingdom without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Develop and own global government relations, public affairs, and policy strategy
• Establish regulatory pathways for humanoid robotics
• Develop policy positions with Legal, Finance, and commercial leadership
• Develop routes to public and institutional capital
• Build the public-interest case for humanoid robotics
• Build relationships with policymakers, officials, and industry associations
• Represent the organisation at public forums and conferences
• Monitor political and regulatory developments and advise leadership
• Coordinate engagement across the United States and Canada
• Build and lead the government relations function
