About the Role
You will lead day-to-day operations for a North Carolina data center campus. You will establish operational standards, readiness processes, maintenance strategies, incident response, risk management, and performance KPIs. You will develop operations leaders, coordinate with technical functions, and ensure infrastructure remains safe, reliable, maintainable, and ready to scale.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in mission-critical operations, data centers, power generation, utilities, industrial facilities, semiconductor manufacturing, or another complex operational environment
- Experience leading critical infrastructure operations and technical teams
- Understanding of electrical and mechanical infrastructure in mission-critical facilities
- Experience with operational procedures, maintenance programs, incident management, and emergency response
- Experience in MOP-, SOP-, and EOP-driven environments
- Strong judgment during high-pressure operational events
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Lead operational performance for the North Carolina campus
- Establish operating models, staffing, escalation paths, and operational KPIs
- Define readiness and acceptance requirements for facilities and infrastructure deployments
- Oversee electrical, mechanical, cooling, controls, and monitoring infrastructure
- Establish preventive and predictive maintenance, asset-management, and critical-spares practices
- Lead responses to significant incidents and conduct post-incident root-cause reviews
- Maintain SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, emergency response, and change-management standards
- Maintain safety, security, and regulatory compliance
- Recruit, develop, coach, and retain operations leaders and technical talent
