About the Role

You will lead modernization of critical recordkeeping and data platforms across mainframe, distributed, and cloud solutions. You will define roadmaps and engineering standards, improve resiliency and operational performance, guide strategic investments, and coach globally distributed engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field
  • 12 plus years of software engineering experience
  • Deep expertise with COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, and enterprise mainframe development practices
  • Experience with mission-critical recordkeeping, transaction processing, and data management platforms
  • Hands-on SQL experience in DB2 and Oracle environments
  • Experience driving application modernization, API enablement, legacy transformation, cloud integration, and platform simplification
  • Experience with ETL technologies, Informatica, data integration, and large-volume data processing
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, DevSecOps practices, and Site Reliability Engineering principles

Responsibilities

  • Lead globally distributed engineering teams supporting critical applications
  • Define modernization roadmaps and engineering standards
  • Lead cloud integration, API enablement, application transformation, and data platform evolution
  • Drive Agile, DevSecOps, automation, observability, and Site Reliability Engineering practices
  • Manage platform risks, resiliency, performance, security, scalability, and availability
  • Communicate strategy, priorities, risks, and outcomes to executive stakeholders
  • Develop engineering talent through mentorship, coaching, and succession planning
