About the Role
You will direct the architecture and delivery of client-facing applications, internal operations tools, financial ledger systems, and payment pipelines. You will enforce application security and access controls. You will also partner on platform architecture, observability, cloud environments, disaster recovery, staging environments, and CI/CD release controls.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience
- 2+ years in an engineering leadership role
- Experience guiding engineering teams in high-velocity startup or scaling environments
- Experience establishing UAT environments, mandatory PR reviews, and release governance
- Architectural familiarity and hands-on exposure to Go, Python, and Rust
- Deep knowledge of distributed microservices, PostgreSQL, Redis, REST, WebSockets, gRPC, AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
Responsibilities
- Direct the architecture and delivery of client dashboards, merchant portals, balance-tracking interfaces, and customer API gateways
- Oversee internal admin portals, trade reconciliation workflows, settlement tracking interfaces, and incident-triage tools
- Own application logic for multi-asset ledgers, parallel accounting books, and payment and payout pipelines
- Enforce application security standards, including API key management, OAuth/JWT rotation, MFA, and dual-approval controls
- Partner on platform architecture, observability, cloud environments, and disaster recovery
- Direct isolated UAT and staging environments, test-data seeding, and mock API integrations
- Establish CI/CD gates, static analysis rules, release discipline, and production access controls
