About the Role

Lead the operational backbone of Crusoe's Energy Development Group by overseeing analysts, developing economic models, improving due diligence and pipeline processes, maintaining opportunity data, preparing board and executive materials, and synthesizing market, regulatory, hyperscaler, and infrastructure intelligence.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in consulting, project finance, investment banking, private equity, energy development, or business operations, with significant energy-sector focus.
  • 3+ years of managerial or team leadership experience.
  • Deep understanding of energy markets, project economics, and financial modeling.
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Google Suite proficiency; experience with pipeline management systems.
  • Experience building and improving operational processes in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Preferred: MBA or advanced degree, data center or HPC experience, power purchase agreement familiarity, AI-tool aptitude, and domestic travel availability.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee, mentor, and develop Energy Development Analysts.
  • Guide financial modeling, market analysis, and project evaluation.
  • Develop economic models for land, power, and data center opportunities.
  • Improve due diligence, pipeline management, project management, and reporting processes.
  • Maintain data integrity in the data center opportunity pipeline.
  • Track pipeline metrics and project statuses.
  • Supervise board presentations, project approval materials, and executive reports.
  • Coordinate Energy Development with partner teams and external stakeholders.
  • Track hyperscaler activity, regulatory changes, and energy infrastructure investments.
