About the Role
You will perform back-office investment operations, monitor fund payments, enter and settle transactions, maintain accounting records, prepare tax forms and reports, work with regulators, update procedures, and support product, legislative, and process-digitization projects.
Requirements
- Relevant economic or other suitable education
- At least 3 years of experience in similar work
- Analytical skills
- Slovenian language
- English language
- MS Office
- Knowledge of banking back-office services is preferred
- Knowledge of payment operations is preferred
- Knowledge of accounting fundamentals is preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform back-office operational procedures for global custody services
- Monitor fund payments and submit orders abroad for mutual funds
- Enter, monitor, settle, and post transactions and perform daily controls
- Ensure funds are available for domestic and foreign market settlements
- Post invoices and monitor receivables
- Prepare and submit capital-gains tax forms
- Cooperate with regulators and prepare settlement reports and analyses
- Update and create internal work instructions
- Support new-product, legislative-change, and process-digitization projects
