About the Role
Lead the power strategy for AI and GPU load profiles across data center projects. Translate compute-growth scenarios into power capacity and design requirements, guide power-system studies and resilient generation integration, and manage Staff Engineers while communicating recommendations to technical and executive stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 8–12+ years of power systems engineering experience with exposure to high-density or data center loads
- Understanding of load profiles, power quality, and system studies
- Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain AI/GPU load forecasts and translate them into power capacity and design requirements
- Analyze AI/GPU workload power profiles and infrastructure implications
- Align load strategy with utility capacity and power procurement
- Evaluate grid and on-site power supply strategies
- Lead power design requirements and coordinate with substation and grid engineering
- Support load-flow, short-circuit, and reliability studies
- Guide integration of generation, UPS, BESS, and microgrid controllers
- Lead and develop Staff Engineers
- Set technical standards for load analysis and design recommendations
- Communicate power strategy to development, operations, and executive leadership
