About the Role

You will develop Via's global field marketing and public relations strategy for owned and sponsored transit-tech programs, both live and virtual, based on rigorous industry research aligned with objectives, target markets, and annual budgets. You will draft speeches and arrange interviews for Via's top executives to increase brand awareness and image. You will support the annual global event strategy for Via's B2B and B2G businesses and create campaigns and press releases to support a packed calendar of events, webinars, media engagements, and client interactions. You will manage all aspects of event coordination including budget, messaging, speaker submissions, contracts, and vendor relations, and you will invite journalists and media to cover events. You will conduct post-event and campaign evaluations and ROI analysis to refine strategy, and you will collaborate with the broader marketing team on flagship programs like Women in Transit-Tech and Via's annual customer summit. You will partner with Public Relations and other teams to submit proposals for speaking opportunities, develop marketing collateral with product and digital marketing teams, and coordinate with business development representatives on pre- and post-event outreach.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, international studies, or a related field
  • Two years of experience in a marketing role or similar occupation involving B2B marketing events and campaigns
  • Experience using Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, and A/B testing to improve website traffic and conversions
