About the Role
You will collaborate with Data Platform Engineers and other teams to improve data accessibility and tooling. You will help ensure data quality and integrity for core engineering teams, and explore ways to improve data processing and analysis with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
Requirements
- 5+ years of engineering experience
- Experience with data ingestion
- Strong data engineering coding skills in Scala, Python, and Spark
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience with cloud technologies, ideally AWS
- Experience with Big Data analysis
- Experience with time-series databases
- Understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and performance optimization
- Teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ownership and problem-solving ability
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Data Platform Engineers and other teams to improve data accessibility and tooling
- Ensure data quality and integrity for core engineering teams
- Explore opportunities to improve data processing and analysis using cloud technologies, preferably AWS
