About the Role
You will build robust, scalable, maintainable, and monitored data pipelines in cloud environments. You will develop customer integrations, Java microservices, ETL workflows, data enrichment processes, and high-availability infrastructure while addressing data quality, schema management, monitoring, and cross-functional integration needs.
Requirements
- BSc. in Computer Sciences
- At least 3 years of experience with Java
- 5+ years in data engineering and data pipeline development on high-volume, low-latency production environments
- Experience with Prometheus and Grafana
- Experience with Apache Airflow, K8S, ClickHouse, Snowflake, Redis, caching technologies, and Kafka
- Experience with relational, non-relational, and time series databases
- Proficiency in SQL and query optimization
- Experience designing infrastructure at scale to maintain high-availability SLAs
- Ability to work independently and proactively identify solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a remote environment
- Experience in fintech, crypto, or trading industries and familiarity with FIX and market data are advantageous
Responsibilities
- Design and implement customer-facing integrations of various asset types into data pipelines
- Design and develop Java microservices running on K8S and AWS
- Develop, design, and maintain end-to-end ETL workflows
- Implement data ingestion and transformation logic across multiple data sources
- Enrich financial data through third-party integrations and FIX, CSV, and JSON formats
- Use AI agents such as Claude to code solutions within organizational conventions
- Plan and communicate integrations with teams that consume data and create insights
- Address data duplication, velocity, schema adherence, schema versioning, high availability, and data governance
