About the Role
You will lead multi-country energy procurement, utility engagement, and regulatory strategy for AI infrastructure across the EU. You will assess grid constraints, develop market intelligence, structure commercial agreements, and align capacity delivery with project timelines.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in energy procurement, utility development, or power markets
- Substantial experience across European energy markets and jurisdictions
- Expertise in EU electricity markets, capacity mechanisms, network connections, and transmission planning
- Experience securing 100+ MW of power capacity
- Experience with connection agreements, PPAs, or offtake agreements
- Ability to analyze market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and grid constraints
- Stakeholder management experience with TSOs, DSOs, regulators, ACER, policymakers, and vendors
Responsibilities
- Develop energy deployment strategies
- Lead energy procurement and market strategy across EU markets
- Manage relationships with TSOs, DSOs, regulators, and ACER
- Drive energy market and policy strategy
- Translate energy-market and network constraints into capacity strategies
- Develop intelligence on European power availability and transmission constraints
- Structure PPAs, network-use arrangements, and behind-the-meter solutions
