About the Role
You will deploy, configure, troubleshoot, and document server, GPU, storage, and network infrastructure. You will manage inventory and RMA activity, resolve complex hardware incidents, maintain operational procedures, support cross-functional infrastructure projects, train junior staff, and travel for new-site bring-up as needed.
Requirements
- Strong experience with critical data center infrastructure systems
- English and Spanish fluency
- Knowledge of DIA circuit testing and turn-ups, fiber testing, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of cable optics, cable media, and containment
- Understanding of single-phase and three-phase power and PDU balancing
- Understanding of server hardware and boot processes
- Ability to improve complex maintenance MOPs
- Willingness to travel for new data center bring-up
- Presence at the Querétaro data center five days per week
- Ability to perform shift work
Responsibilities
- Rack, label, cable, and configure server, storage, and network infrastructure
- Troubleshoot GPU, networking, hardware, and software issues
- Document and update data center layouts and network topology in DCIM software
- Coordinate system deployments and project plans
- Manage parts-depot inventory and equipment lifecycle tracking
- Resolve and report complex hardware incidents with hardware support
- Coordinate faulty-part returns and replacement orders with the RMA team
- Maintain installation standards and documentation
- Improve maintenance MOPs
- Align operational capabilities and infrastructure projects with product, support, and other functions
- Train junior staff on best practices
