About the Role
You will own the compute and storage category, including GPU servers, storage systems, and node-level components. You will negotiate pricing, lead times, and capacity reservations; dual-source critical configurations; and monitor supplier performance through delivery, DOA, and lead-time metrics.
Requirements
- Experience sourcing servers, GPUs, or storage at volume from OEMs or ODMs
- Experience securing allocation during constrained supply cycles
- Ability to evaluate cost breakdowns
- Experience managing supplier performance with scorecards
- Experience sourcing GPUs and accelerators
- Experience engaging directly with ODMs
- Knowledge of total-cost-of-ownership modeling
- Knowledge of import and trade compliance
Responsibilities
- Own the compute and storage category from supplier strategy through delivery
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and capacity reservations with OEMs and ODMs
- Dual-source critical node configurations
- Track and act on supplier performance metrics monthly
