About the Role
You will rack, label, cable, and configure server, storage, and network infrastructure. You will troubleshoot systems, document layouts and topology, manage inventory and equipment handoffs, coordinate support and RMA work, and follow installation standards for data center deployments.
Requirements
- Familiarity with critical data center infrastructure systems
- Knowledge of power distribution, airflow management, environmental monitoring, capacity planning, DCIM, structured cabling, and cable management
- English and Spanish fluency
- Willingness to travel for new data center bring-up
- Presence at the Kansas City, Missouri data center five days per week
- Ability to perform shift work
Responsibilities
- Rack, label, cable, and configure server, storage, and network infrastructure
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Document data center layouts and network topology in DCIM software
- Coordinate system deployments and project plans
- Manage parts-depot inventory and equipment lifecycle tracking
- Resolve infrastructure support tickets with hardware support
- Coordinate faulty-part returns and replacement orders with the RMA team
- Follow installation standards for placement, labeling, and cabling
