About the Role
You'll take full ownership of the technical direction of the company. You'll define the architecture of a multi-class, multi-insurer platform, tackling an interesting infrastructure problem at every layer. You'll lead the build of the agent-first orchestration engine, the conversational layer at the heart of the product's differentiation. You'll grow and lead the engineering team, hiring deliberately as the roadmap demands. You'll work directly with insurer partners on integrations, engaging in commercial conversations. You'll be a genuine co-founder partner to the CEO, contributing to product strategy, commercial decisions, and the fundraising narrative.
Requirements
- Experience building and shipping production systems
- Strong opinions about architecture with the ability to defend them
- Ability to write code and lead a team that writes code better than you
- Understanding of the challenge of making LLM-led conversational flows deterministic in a regulated financial services context
- London-based or willing to be
- Comfortable with early-stage ambiguity
