About the Role
You will own project budgets, commitments, actuals, forecasts, and cost risks from procurement through close-out. You will prepare cost reports and cash-flow projections, evaluate change orders and payment applications, support procurement, manage contingency, and coordinate cost data with Finance and ERP systems.
Requirements
- 7+ years of cost management, quantity surveying, or project controls experience
- Understanding of construction contracts and change-order evaluation
- Experience preparing cost reports, forecasts, and cash-flow projections for $100M+ projects
- Advanced Excel ability
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain project budgets and cost breakdown structures
- Track commitments, actuals, accruals, and forecasts
- Prepare monthly cost reports, variance analysis, and cash-flow projections
- Maintain trend and change logs
- Evaluate and negotiate contractor change orders
- Review contractor and vendor payment applications
- Support bid leveling and commercial evaluation
- Track contingency and allowance drawdown
- Support commercial close-out and claims resolution
