About the Role
You will support month-end and year-end closes, reconcile general-ledger accounts, prepare management and statutory accounts, and maintain financial controls. You will assist with regulatory reporting, tax and payroll filings, audits, budgeting, forecasting, and automation while keeping management, statutory, and regulatory reporting consistent.
Requirements
- Qualified CPA, ACA, or ACCA accountant
- At least 2 years of post-qualification experience
- Background in business services, audit, or corporate accounting
- Financial accounting, statutory reporting, and control-framework knowledge
- Experience with consolidated accounts and management reporting
- ERP experience, preferably NetSuite
- Exposure to US tax, LATAM accounting regulations, and international reporting standards
- Advanced Excel
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving
- Right to work in the jurisdiction where applying
Responsibilities
- Review journal entries and ensure accurate transaction recording
- Maintain and reconcile general-ledger accounts
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare monthly management accounts and statutory financial statements
- Contribute to regulatory capital reporting and returns
- Assist with VAT, payroll, and statutory filings
- Prepare audit schedules and respond to auditor queries
- Maintain and improve financial controls
- Support budgeting and forecasting
- Identify and implement finance-process automation
- Collaborate on accurate management, statutory, and regulatory reporting
