About the Role
You will develop and implement physical security strategies, policies, and procedures that protect people, facilities, assets, and information. You will lead personnel, manage security technology, assess risks, investigate incidents, maintain emergency plans, and work with internal and external partners.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in security management, law enforcement, or the armed forces
- Experience developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and programmes
- Experience conducting security assessments, audits, and investigations at scale
- Knowledge of access control systems, CCTV surveillance, incident-management software, and other security technologies
- Leadership experience leading and motivating a security team
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of emergency response planning and incident management
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement security strategies, policies, and procedures
- Assess risks and vulnerabilities through security assessments, audits, and inspections
- Manage access control systems, surveillance equipment, and security technologies
- Integrate security requirements into business processes and projects
- Recommend security-programme enhancements
- Lead, hire, train, and supervise security personnel
- Educate employees on security policies, protocols, and procedures
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures
- Investigate security breaches, incidents, and violations
- Document findings and implement corrective actions
- Maintain relationships with law enforcement agents
